Bringing to Richmond the World's Most Engaging Speakers
The Richmond Forum: Mission & Overview

The Richmond Forum presents distinguished journalists, heads of state and speakers who are internationally known and who are the foremost authorities in their field. The Forum is recognized as the premier public forum in the United States.

The Richmond Forum produces educational programs that offer citizens opportunities to discuss and explore the political, cultural, and economic trends and issues that shape and affect our lives and our communities today.

Over 18,000 students and patrons from throughout the Commonwealth participate in The Forum's programs and activities each year. The Forum also develops public programs, presentations, and exhibitions in partnership with other institutions throughout the community.

The Forum's programs promote a broader understanding of World and International Affairs, Current Events, Arts and Culture, Business and the Economy, Science and Technology, and Faith and Values.

The Richmond Forum is incorporated as a non-profit tax exempt educational organization and is governed by a 30-member volunteer Board of Directors and administered by a professional staff. We welcome your ideas for programs and speakers.
