The 2025 – 2026 season has arrived.

For our 40th season, Tracee Ellis Ross, Sanna Marin, John Green, and others will come to Richmond to share their ideas, stories, and perspectives regarding today’s important issues and to answer your hard-hitting questions.

It’s not a joke. It’s our 40th season.

Since 1987, The Richmond Forum has been a place where the world’s most influential voices meet a community of lifelong learners — a place where curiosity is celebrated, complex questions are welcomed, and the spirit of dialogue shapes the future.

For our 40th season, we will honor the conversations that have sparked change, challenged assumptions, and inspired generations, while boldly stepping into the questions that will define the decades ahead.

Each evening at The Forum is more than a lecture, interview, or discussion. It’s a shared experience — an invitation to wrestle with new ideas, to see the world through a broader lens, and to be part of a community that values curiosity, civility, and connection.

We continue that tradition with an extraordinary lineup of speakers who will invite us to reflect, to reimagine, and to reconnect — with journalism, with leadership, with democracy, with identity, and with wonder itself.

Come curious. Leave inspired.
Subscriptions for the 40th season are available now.

“For our 40th season, we’re not just looking back at how far we’ve come, we’re looking boldly ahead. This season’s speakers challenge us to think bigger, lead with curiosity, and keep asking the questions that move us forward.”

Heather Crislip, Executive Director
